IRON MAIDEN
SEVENTH SON
OF A SEVENTH SON 1988 |
Review: Seventh album, seventh son and seventh best Maiden album so far. I was wondering where the band was going with this sound. This is a concept album and Can I Play With Madness was like a try to get some radio airplay. I love long songs but the ones on here just drag on and don't go anywhere. I read reviews at amazon and some people say this is the best Maiden album?? I must be crazy or smart whichever you prefer but I don't know how anyone can compare this to the classics. I just looked in my cd collection and noticed I don't have it on cd but I guess why bother when I wouldn't listen to it anyway. Again there is a couple of not bad songs but just the dragging on of others and repeating of lyrics like on the title track drive me crazy and make me wanna skip to next song.
