ANVIL METAL ON METAL 1982
|
Review: Canadian metal legends Anvil and their 2nd release and probably most well known and best release. Pure straight in your face metal. Title track featuring some of the greatest lyrics and telling you they are a metal band. For example....."Metal on Metal, its what I crave, the louder the better, I'll turn in my grave"! A perfect Metal anthem if I ever have heard one. Lips and company love their songs with sex topics like the rockin Tease Me Please Me, Tag Team, and Jackhammer. The monstrous metal slab of Mothra, A ballad with Stop Me that I can even handle listening too. A metal crunching instrumental with March of the Crabs and gotta love any song named 666. This is a metal masterpiece that survives the test of time. Fav. Cuts : Metal on Metal, Mothra, Tease me
Please me.
