Review: The debut cd from Norway Metal band CHAIN COLLECTOR. The have 2 vocalists. One sings in the death metal screaming style and one in the clean power metal style vocals. My opinion is they should still with death metal completely as when the band is crushing it out with the death vocals it is very heavy and would please any death metal fan for sure. But I find the clean vocals are holding the band back from what they can become. The opening riffs of NEVERWHERE is what they should stick to. The song CRUCIFIXION starts out great then goes off on this weird kinda trip that is hard to really explain and also includes a choir but that song is just all over the place, from good to "what the hell is this"?? So its not a bad release but I think this could be so much better if they picked one style and stuck with it.
