THE METAL PIT:  Why do you listen to Heavy Metal?     Metal has always given me an indescribeable feeling. The fast drums, the heavy guitars, the growling, screeching vocals. Metal gets my blood pumping! It makes me drive my car faster, makes me bang my head, makes me go insane! Metal makes me feel dangerous, sexy and a bit evil and wicked all in one! No other music could make me feel this way! Nothing else compares to METAL! Never has, never will!

THE METAL PIT:  How or what got you into listening to Heavy Metal?   Hearing Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil blaring from my best friends brothers bedroom at the age of 13 intrigued me. I had to go to his bedroom to see what he was listening to. When I heard In the Beginning, it sounded a bit scary and I loved it! Seeing as I have been obsessed with Halloween and dark things since I was a little girl, the Shout at the Devil album seemed evil, seemed naughty and that's what made me love it and fall in love with heavy metal music! I loved the long hair, the leather, the studs, it was exciting and dangerous to me and I absolutely loved it!

THE METAL PIT:  Your top 5 Metal bands?

Lamb of God
Pantera
Slayer
Cradle of Filth
Judas Priest

THE METAL PIT:  Best concert you have ever seen?  Pantera, the Cowboys from Hell tour in the early 90's with White Zombie opening up. I saw them in a small club and that was the most intense concert I've ever experienced! The first time I ever got in a mosh pit, the first time I ever got trampled and kicked in the head in a pit and had a guy stage dive right on top of me! I've never been to another concert that would even compare to this show!

THE METAL PIT: Your worst cd buying experience?  Buying a stinking Destiny's Child cd for a kid for Christmas a couple of years ago. It was awful! Makes me shudder just thinking about it. I was SO embarassed to buy this cd that I hid it under other items hoping that no one would see me purchase it! Now to me, that's true dedication to metal!

THE METAL PIT:  What would you say to someone if they said you should grow up and stop listening to Metal?  I would say they are missing out on an awesome experience. Metal is not just music to me. It is my attitude, is is my way of life. It's the way you dress, the way you act, the way you live. It's not just something to listen to, it molds your frame of mind. Metal is also a cause for me.  I have been fighting for the cause of metal for half my life. I would defend it to the death. I consider metal my religion. I worship it just as other people do their gods. It is that important to me. I've been living a "metal" life for over 20 years now and I could not imagine my life without it. I would tell them they are missing out on an agressive form of music that would affect their life forever. It takes much talent and skill to play metal music and I commend all the musicians out there creating it to make me bang my head every day! Horns up to all my metal brothers and sisters! No other music will ever compare to METAL, ever!

THE METAL PIT:  Outside of Metal what is most important to you?   My family first. My daughter who is a metalhead as well. She grew up on metal music. She was banging her head in front of the tv at the age of two to headbangers ball. I am SO proud of her! My husband who is a musician as well. He plays guitar and can play drums and is a vocalist. I had a crush on him in high school when he had long blonde hair to his ass! Also Halloween is very important to me! I live for celebrating this holiday.

THE METAL PIT:  What was the first metal concert you saw? Motley Crue in 1985 at the age of 13.

THE METAL PIT: Who do you think was the first Heavy Metal band ever? I would say Black Sabbath for sure. I think they are the first band to bring the dark, heavy, evil side to music that has become known as metal.

THE METAL PIT:  What are your thoughts on females in Heavy Metal?   I think it is awesome that more females are actually getting into metal bands, not just standing out in the crowd as fans. I wish there were more women like Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy that can growl metal vocals just as hard and heavy as any male vocalist! She kicks total ass! I think it is important for more females to step up to the plate and play metal music. It shouldn't just be a male dominated arena anymore. Females can kick your metal asses just as well!

THE METAL PIT:  Thank for you being the 1st ever Metal Maiden of the Month for the METAL PIT..........do you have any closing thoughts to share with METAL PIT viewers?
Always stay true to the cause of METAL! Don't stray over to the pussy side of music. Stay where the music is real, raw, agressive talent! Once you experience metal, your life will never be the same again! It only gets better! Metal is fun and life would be boring without it! Long live the METAL way of life!
