Iron Maiden`s best of 2 cd collection featuring songs spanning albums from No Prayer for the Dying til last years The Final Frontier. I think the really only reason to own a best of is if the albums featured aren`t great albums that stand on their own so in my opinion this is why I would have this in my collection as over this time frame there has been a lot of great Maiden songs but not really any great full albums. With most of the albums the songs are taken from I would pick up a cd and only listen to a few songs from the cd and my favourites might not be the same ones they picked for this best of but overall its a good selction of most of the better songs from these releases. The only 2 NON Bruce albums are featured but the songs are live versions done by Bruce so it makes the songs tolerable otherwise I would never listen to those 2 cds. The only other live song is a great live song in Fear Of The Dark. 23 songs in total span the 2 discs. Its a must have if your a new Maiden fan and don`t want to buy every cd. For older Maiden fans your probably like me and not a big fan of these albums so you might take the same reasoning I mentioned before to own this collection. Or of course maybe you just want every Maiden cd to have a new image of Eddie even though I do prefer the Derek Riggs drawing for that matter. The cd does some with all the lyrics which I find is rare with best of releases.
