          Our Metal Maiden of the Month for April gives us our 1st Metal Maiden outside of USA. ANNA coming from Poland to grace THE METAL PIT as the  newest Maiden.

THE METAL PIT:  Why do you listen to Heavy Metal?     I listen to Heavy Metal because it inspires me, fascinates me, mesmerises me.


THE METAL PIT:  How or what got you into listening to Heavy Metal?   I was brought up listening to the metal music.  My parents liked rock music and my uncle was (and still is) a big fan of Iron Maiden and Def Leppard. He infected me for the good.




THE METAL PIT:  Your top 5 Metal bands?           I think it’s one of the most difficult questions to answer. It’s hard to choose only five. There is so many amazing bands that can give me various feelings… But if you insist:
- Iron Maiden
- Bruce Dickinson
- Rhapsody (of Fire)
- Helloween
- Sonata Artica
 


THE METAL PIT:  Best concert you have ever seen?  Iron Maiden, 2000, Katowice, Poland (because thats the tour Bruce Dickinson rejoined Maiden  ;))



THE METAL PIT: What is the best thing about going to a Metal Concert?       Some time ago I met a man who was listening to techno music. Once he went to a metal concert to see what was going on there and have fun because of laughing at stupid long-haired people in black. Do you know what he told me after? That he never felt so high and so excited. I think that the best thing about it is the energy exploding from your mind and body.
THE METAL PIT:  Outside of Metal what is most important to you?         Me of course! Seriously it’s having people around me who feel good with me and who I can live for.





THE METAL PIT:  What was the first metal concert you saw?       hm…. I don’t remember. Maybe it was Acid Drinkers or Vader or Closterkeller.



THE METAL PIT:  What are your thoughts on females in Heavy Metal?  I don’t care the gender. If the musician is good, I listen only to his/her music. I don't care if its male or female as long as the music is good.




THE METAL PIT: What is your favorite Metal album of all time and why? Iron Maiden “The Number of the Beast”. I was listening to this album even in my baby cradle ;)



THE METAL PIT:  What is the heavy metal scene like in Poland?     Metal in Poland becomes more popular with every year. There are many young bands that develop Polish markets and many old ones are very good, bands that are  known all over the world. We have many metal festivals eg. Metalmania, Mystic Festival, Castle Party ect., and many concerts of single artists and bands.
