HALFORD

LIVE INSURRECTION

2001

Review: The Metal God follows up his Resurrection return with a double live cd of some of his new songs, some of his other solo songs and of course classic Judas Priest cuts. There is 3 studio tracks, 2 of them redone demos and the new one Screaming in the Dark with its machine gun fire drumming and patented Halford screams makes it one that could of just as well been on his latest. The problem with live recording or even live shows is that everyone has there favs that don't get done. I miss hearing Locked and Loaded from the latest as that being my fav new song so that was disappointing to me. And of course with the Priest songs there is others I would like over ones chosen. I am sure everyone has there favs so you can't please everyone. Bruce Dickinson is featured on The One you Love To Hate so that was cool to have live. So overall a good live album from a metal legend.

Fav Cuts:  Breaking the Law, The One You Love To Hate,
