It's a era where it is so hard to be unique in the Metal world so the guys in FALLSTAF invented their own Metal Genre and they call it BRASS METAL since they feature a Trombone player who also wears a mask  and you wouldn't want to come across in a dark alley. Now I personally don't like all these Metal genre's people make up so I wouldn't call them Brass metal as that doesn't really tell you anything but they are hard to categorize as they sometimes come close to a death like feel, or some thrash or some odes to groove metal. They remind me a bit of a band like Faith No More especially during the song MY DEMONS which is on here twice, once in acoustic form and once in pure metal form. Now don't be scared off by the Trombone thing as its not like instead of guitar solos their is Trombone solos and its pretty hard to get riffs from a Trombone but it does add something to the songs and definitely something different for the metal listener. FALLSTAF is a 5 piece hailing from Montreal, Canada. So if your looking for something different, maybe strange but still very metal check out FALLSTAF. My fav songs would be the aforementioned MY DEMONS, EULOGY and DARK DAYS.
