ALICE COOPER returns to pay homage to his most popular album with kinda like a tribute to his WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE album especially with the Instrumental THE UNDERTURE which plays bits of songs from that Nightmare release. Its a pretty good album and surpised me actually that its as good as it is. Now there is still a few weird cuts that I could do without like WHAT BABY WANTS featuring KE$HA on guest vocals. But another guest that I can live with is ROB ZOMBIE doing a talkover during the best cut on the cd THE CONGREGATION. Their is a few classic ALICE like tracks like the brooding and slow WHEN HELL COMES HOME and the lead track I AM MADE OF YOU and what should be the new theme song for TIM HORTON's (Canada)/ STARBUCKS (USA) and that is of course CAFFEINE. It is true classic ALICE though and its not to be mistaken for anyone else. If your a fan of ALICE and especially the originally NIGHTMARE album I would for sure suggest you check it out as age has not effected his writing ability or his weirdness. And thats a good thing.
