Review: Another great cd from Annihilator. Led by founder and guitarist Jeff Waters. This one featuring Ray Comeau on vocals. Hopefully this lineup will stay intact. The cd covers some differing styles of metal and Comeau comes off great in the vocal department. And of course the music is kick ass but as a long time fan that has come to be common thing with Jeff Waters and his bandmates. Its hard to pick what songs to talk about. I am sure anyone that has heard of ACDC will hear the cut Shallow Grave and think its ACDC. But its better then what they have come out with in the last few years. But thats another story. The cut Epic of War has some Maiden qualities to it. Time Bomb features some Halford like screams in it. Hunter Killer finishes off the cd and ends with a funny little thing called Chicken and Corn make sure you listen for that. Insomniac reminds me of classic Annihilator from the Alice days. If you haven't heard Annihilator before make sure you give this a listen and if you have well you should have it by now, its another great one.
