Review:

BLOOD SEAL a dark progressive metal band that self proclaims themselves as a cross between Sabbath and RUSH. Along with that there other influences are Maiden, Motorhead, Yes, Bach and Mozart. This release leaves me wanting way more, its not as much metal as AOR type music as its mostly slower tempo and not really very heavy. There is nothing wrong with the quality of music but the quality of songs would make for a more enjoyable listening experience. The intsrumental FLIGHT OF THE GYPSY is a perfect example of the great music they can make with fast guitar licks and guitar hero like solos but that is lacking in most other songs on this cd.
