AUTOMAN a 4 piece band from Toronto, Ontario that has the sound of a blast from the past with a hard rocking sound in the vein of early Aeromsith, AC/DC, and ZZ Top type of bluesy rocking foot stompers. Automan featuring Darrell "Dwarf" Millar on lead vocals. Darrell is best known as the former drummer of 80's Canadian metal/hard rock band The Killer Dwarfs. His vocals definitely omit a party style atmosphere. Rest of the band includes Carleton Lockhart on guitar, John Fenton on Bass and Adrian Cavan on drums. The cd featuring 8 tracks of straight ahead hard rocking. CINNAMON RAIN is the closest to a power ballad type of sound that has a Aerosmith feel too it. Some great hard rockers in ONE HALF HARD, CHASIN MY TAIL and the final track the bluesy rocking party track DRIVIN, ROCKIN, LOVIN, which gives off a ZZ top type of boogie rocking song. Just listening to this cd I can picture a bar or club just rocking out and partying hard to the classic rock sound from AUTOMAN.
