Review: Plenty of Power is definitely what this cd offers but most Anvil cds do. 11 songs of power riffing heavy metal done in the vein that is 100% Anvil. After my first few listens I think this is my favourite Anvil cd since Forged In Fire. Lyrical content covers topics like Pro Wrestling, Postal Workers( Disgruntled) and even someone who is on the computer a lot with Computer Drone. Musicianship is tight and long time drummer Robb Reiner can still pound the skins with power. And Lips hasn't lost anything over the years. Computer Drone comes in at 6 minute and the rest is all 3 and a half to 4 minute power rockers. Any Anvil fan will not be disappointed and if you haven't checked them out before give it a listen if you like it heavy and fast.
